Lalique Kneeling/Crouching Yorkshire terrier

Delightful paperweight of a Yorkshire terrier in a kneeling/crouching playful pose. We believe this was a design of Marie-Claude Lalique, René’s granddaughter, so would date to c1980-90.

The terrier measures approximately 11 cm wide by 7cm tall.

The piece is in very good condition with no faults noted. The base retains the original felt pads, so there is no “shelf wear” either. The base is signed “Lalique ® France”, indicating this example is of later manufacture.
