Vintage silver bud vase, 1967

This vintage silver bud vase features a six sided tapering stem rising up to a flower head opening, sitting on a round stepped base. This vase is fully hallmarked on the upper side of the base for Birmingham 1967, and carries the maker's mark for Sanders & Mackenzie. Due to their placement on the upper surface of the base, the  marks are worn from cleaning, but are still clear and readable. Saunders and Mackenzie operated from Spencer Street Birmingham. The vase measures 12.5 cm (5') tall, has a base 5 cm (1.9') in diameter, and is 5.5 cm (1.2') at its widest across the top opening. The base is weighted. All measurements are approximate. The vase is in good condition, though there are some shallow dents to the stem and base. Please study all photos as these form an important part of the description.
