Antique Georgian (George IV) Scottish silver unengraved fiddle pattern toddy ladle. The toddy ladle bears the hallmarks for Daniel Ferguson, Edinburgh, and the date letter for 1829. Daniel Ferguson, according to pieces found, only smithed between 1828 and 1831. The toddy ladle is 15.5 cm (6.1') long. The bowl is 4.3 cm (1.7') in diameter and 1.3 cm (.5') deep. It weighs 29 grams. All measurements are approximate. The toddy ladle is in very good condition, with just light overall scratching commensurate with age and usage.
