Lalique pedestal bowl vase "Elisabeth"

Lalique vase in the Elisabeth design. The Elisabeth design features a bowl shaped vase on a square pedestal base, with a continuous freeze of satin finish moulding of alternating sparrows and leaves. "Lalique France" is engraved in the base. The design is by Marc Lalique, René's son, and dates to 1961. This is however of later production. The vase measures 12 cm (4.7") in diameter across the top, 8 cm (3.2") square to the base and stands 13.5 cm (5.3") tall. The vase weighs a substantial 1230g / 2.7lb. All measurements are approximate. The vase is in very good condition. No chips, cracks or discolouration have been noted. There is an amount of wear to the base.
