This Aberdeen Scottish provincial fiddle pattern silver tea spoon was made by James Maitland. The spoon's finial has been engraved 'WCS'. The spoon carries the mark for James alongside an Aberdeen 'A', 'B', 'D', 'N' mark. James Maitland is known to have worked between c1885-1899. The spoon is in very good condition.
