Lalique "Bagatelle" vase

'Bagatelle' was originally designed by René Lalique in 1939 (model number 10-936). The design features a heavy ovoid vase showing birds nestling amongst foliage. This example is of much later manufacture and has the engraved signature 'Lalique ® France' to the base. The vase measures 11 cm (4.3') in diameter across the top, 7.5 cm (3') across the bottom, and stands 17 cm (6.7') tall. The vase weighs a substantial 2430g/5.37lb. All measurements are approximate. The vase is in excellent condition with no faults or discolouration noted. The base has the original felt pads, so surface wear is minimal/non-existent. There is no original packaging.
