Banff Scottish provincial toddy ladle, c1800

Rare antique Banff Scottish provincial silver toddy ladle, with a "G" monogrammed finial. The toddy ladle bears the hallmarks for John Keith, and (ribbon letter) "B". The Richard Turner reference book on Scottish provincial silver dates John Keiths' work to c1786-1823. The toddy ladle is 16.2 cm (6.4") long. The bowl is 4 cm (1.5") by 4 cm (1.5") and is 1.8 cm (.7") deep. It weighs 31 grams. All measurements are approximate. The toddy ladle is in very good condition, with just light overall scratching commensurate with age and usage. Please study all photos as these form an important part of the description.
