Bay (West Germany)

Bay Keramik (Bay Ceramic) was founded by Eduard Bay in 1933 and continued producing major art pottery until 1971.

Bay's best known designer was Bodo Mans, and it was one of the top early West Germany pottery companies.

Bay made some excellent items through the 1960s as well as some lesser lines, but slipping demand for art pottery forced the company to change to making kitchen items.
