Lalique "Owl" paperweight

A Lalique paperweight featuring an Owl ("Chouette") sculpture.

This was designed by René Lalique and originally produced in 1931, though this example is from c1960-79. The sculpture is no longer in production.

The base of the weight is engraved "Lalique France".

The base of the weight measures 3.2 cm in diameter. The height is 9 cm.

All measurements are approximate.

The pre-owned weight is in very good condition with only light shelf wear scratches to the base noted.
