Penny Page
Penny has long had a love of painting and drawing outdoors, and currently has an interest in sea and boats.
She studied at York College, specialising in ceramics and printmaking, and then with the Open College of the Arts. She has taught painting and drawing to adults aiming to make the subject accessible to all levels of ability.
Recently Penny has experimented with gouache resist combined with inks and watercolours. But she moves from one media to another, more recently pastels and watercolours, and she is never far from her sketchbook to capture the moment on holiday or just to pass the time.
Penny was selected to be in York Open Studios in 2019.
